Our current focus is to get progression in Ulduar

Who is we?

Permanent members will be expected to turn up each week on their specified day/s and on time.
The spot will be given to a waiting casual if you are not online.
If you are a permanent and miss 3 raids without telling the raid leader, you'll lose your permanent spot.

If you don't want a permanent spot, you can turn up on the day any night we run and raid with us, provided there is room.

Permanents will be expected to understand the fights, be fully enchanted, geared to the best of their abilities and use consumables.

How many people do we need?

We need 2 Tanks, 3 heal and 5 DPS per night.

How do I prepare?

Read the wowwiki strategies. You don't need to memorise them, but it's easier to explain if you've already read about the fight.

Naxx/OS
You must have the crafted pvp gear or better. (5 man level 80 or equivalent)
If you are a permanent and not already raid geared, you must also have 2 crafted epics. They are much cheaper and easier to get than in TBC, so there is no excuse.

Ulduar
Full set of Ilevel 200 gear - Naxx/heroics. Must be all gemmed and enchanted correctly.
Wow Heroes or Be imba to check.

What should I bring?

Food, bandages and pots.
If you are not a healing class, then you need a stack of 20 bandages.
Everyone needs to have 5 healing pots with them.
Mana users must also carry 10 mana pots.
Buff food is also a requirement. Many in the guild will help you make these.

Loot:

We will use a points system for loot.
Points will be accumulated per character and can not be shared.
If you wish to raid with one character, but run with a different one at the request of the raid leader for progression reasons, you may choose to give the points to either character.
You may have negative points in some cases. (In fact it's almost ideal too)

Points will be awarded for:
Being punctual. With 10 people, the raid suffers if any one is not on time. Daylight savings makes this especially difficult.
Time with the raid. This will be flat, per hour.
Boss kills. For a successful kill, points will be granted.
Being ready for the raid, but standing out. If you stay till the raid finishes you will accumulate equal time with raid points.

All items will have a set value, as determined using the EPGP loot-point system. While we won't use EPGP, we will use their points.
When loot drops and you want it, you then /roll # Where # is the number of points you have. if you win, the points are deducted from your total.

Points:
10 for turning up on time
5 per hour
10 per progression kill
5 per normal

This should give a round-robin to begin with and later on a more random distribution.

First Meeting notes

Start time:
Start time has been set to 9:30 during DST - and 9:00 normally.
We'll see how the start times workout for the first couple of weeks.
Once DST is over we may stagger the raid start times and start Friday later, for example.

Gearing:
While the base line for casual invite is the pvp level 80 set, any decent level 80 dungeon pieces are fine.
To help guage your progress you can look for the following:
ilevel 185 gear. ilevels for gear can be turned on in interface options.
You should have the "Superior" achievement
You can check be.imba.hu for gear.

Specs:
You may have to change as per raid requirements.

Minimum stats/requirements:
Sal to check with other guilds. Input welcome.

So far for tanks (Naxx):
25k health
540 def
60% avoidance

Looting:
We agreed we'd like to give points for contributing to the raid with consumables. We'll visit this later once the normal points system is working and in place.

Repairs:
Raiders will look after their own costs at this point.

Permanent spots:
You are committed to your character for the long haul if you run a permanent spot. We can certainly change, but you'd need a reason and a commitment to the new character.

DK Info

Old stuff

Macros:
Summon random pet
Your pets are numbered as you see them in the game window - Character pane, then pet tab, Companions
/run CallCompanion("CRITTER", random(GetNumCompanions("CRITTER"))
Change the numbers in t to be the number of pets you have.

Here is a similar one for real mounts. Change the first set for flying mounts and the second for land.
/run if IsMounted() then Dismount() return end local t if IsFlyableArea() then t={a,b,c,d} else t={e,f,g,h} end CallCompanion("MOUNT",t[random(#t)])

Troubleshooting:
If /cast and /castrandom don't work to summon mounts, you can fix that by logging out, and deleting your WDB folder.
